Unlike most other professional MMA fighters (most have been training since they were kids), John Beneduce started training at the age of 19 without ANY prior martial arts or fitness training. In fact, John was over 250 pounds when he started to train in the martial arts. Through years of hard training, discipline, and a willingness to learn what worked for himself, as well as others, John was able to not only lose 100 pounds, an achievement admirable in itself, but went on to become a stand out grappling competitor, winning some of the largest tournaments in America.
John is the Creator and CEO of Unlimited Fighting Fitness, LLC. He is a Black Belt in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu under Matt Serra. John has been training and competing in martial arts since 1999. Before beginning his training in martial arts, John had been tipping the scale at 250, and at 5ʼ5” that is pretty round. Through hard training and consistency John was able to lose 100 pounds and Fights at 145-155. He is a multiple time champion and medalist in both N.A.G.A and Grapplers Quest, as well as being a professional MMA fighter.
John combined his love of fitness and martial arts by creating several products and DVDʼs that enable regular people to train to be in “fight” shape. John has a wealth of experience as a trainer and has been instructing martial arts since 2003. John is an ACE certified personal trainer as well as an assistant instructor in Jeet Kun Do under Sifu Ralph Mitchell.

John had his first Pro-MMA fight after only 3 years of training and went on to win by submission, not to mention competing at a weight of 155! John is an expert on training not just recreational, but professional athletes as well. John has taken his years of hard earned experience and developed several DVDs with more to follow.
